This car park, located in the Horta-Guinardó district and in close proximity to the Hospital de l'Esperança and Park Güell, spans 4 floors and offers over 260 spaces for various types of vehicles. It operates 24/7 and provides amenities such as electric charging, click&collect, tire inflation, vending machines, restrooms, background music and 24/7 video surveillance.
With this addition, the Pàrquing de l'Esperança i Park Güell joins the other parking spaces where payment can be made through the 'Parking via app' service, which enables users to pay for their parking stays by the minute via SMOU, without having to take paper ticket or go to the ticket macine, as access is granted through license plate reading. Furthermore, users can check real-time space availability before leaving home.
This integration further advances SMOU's efforts in transforming the mobility landscape of the city and the Metropolitan Area. Currently, over 170,000 individuals utilize the app to pay for their parking stays by the minute through the 'Parking via app' service.
Overall, this feature enhances the app's usability, providing a convenient, practical and secure payment method while reducing paper usage.
