'Parking via app' on SMOU

The 'Parking via app' service allows you to pay for parking with your mobile phone. Park with SMOU and pay by the minute without having to take a ticket. Plus, you can enter the car park through automatic plate number recognition.

Make parking simpler with 'Parking via app'

To start using the service you can:

  • Activate it from the side menu, in the ‘Services’ section, registring your plate number and a bank card.
  • Directly on the main map, select “Parking” on the bottom bar and tap “Express Entry”.
  • Directly on the main map, select “Parking” on the bottom bar and tap “Digitalize entry”.

When looking for parking in Barcelona with SMOU, use the smart filtres to choose your vehicle type (car or motorbike) in the 'Parking' menu. Car parks where you can pay with the app will appear in pistachio green.

With Express Entry, the barrier will open automatically when your number plate is recognised, both on entry and exit. Payment will be charged to the bank card registered in SMOU. Remember to keep Express Entry activated.

 

If you’ve taken a paper ticket, don’t worry! Just tap “Digitalize entry” to transfer your paper ticket to SMOU in one click and pay directly from the app.
