SMOU will be at the Tomorrow Mobility World Congress, which takes place from November 7 to 9 at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona. Under the slogan "SMOU: Your mobility partner in Barcelona", BSM will explain how the SMOU application is becoming a global mobility tool that not only serves the citizens but can also play a key role in assisting companies and operators in the path towards digitization and promoting more connected, shared, and sustainable mobility.

During the three days of the event, the SMOU booth will also host presentations and roundtable discussions addressing various aspects related to the evolution of the application, which already offers more than twenty services.

The activities will begin on Tuesday, November 7, in the morning, with a dialogue about the services that SMOU can offer to parking companies to support them in the digitalization of the customer experience. Participants will include Josep Maria Deulofeu, Director of the Urban Mobility Solutions Division of BSM; Xavier Ferrer, President of the Gremi de Garatges de Barcelona and province; and representatives from different companies in the sector.

SMOU is also the official application of Endolla Barcelona, the largest public electromobility network in Spain. Therefore, the second day of the congress will focus on analyzing one of the most prominent challenges in ensuring the adoption of electric vehicles: interoperability. Xavier Castellsagué, Head of the Endolla Barcelona Unit at BSM, will discuss with various companies in the electromobility sector how the Endolla network is working to open itself to customers of other electric mobility operators and providers. The main goal of this project is to facilitate public access to charging infrastructure.

Finally, on Thursday, November 9, the role of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) tools like SMOU in the transition to the new mobility will be analyzed. Josep Maria Deulofeu, Director of the Urban Mobility Solutions Division of BSM, will converse with Eglantina Dani, Lead Consultant and Head of European Projects on Transport and Mobility at Factual Consulting, about what mobility as a service is and the social and technological challenges that arise in the implementation of such tools.
