As part of Tomorrow.Mobility 2026, the international event dedicated to innovation in sustainable and urban mobility, BSM’s stand welcomed the discussion 'Moving Better: How Digital Platforms Are Transforming the Citizen Experience'.

The session explored the role that digital platforms such as SMOU play in reshaping the relationship between people and mobility. It also examined the challenges and opportunities linked to integrating services, data and emerging technologies to create increasingly seamless and efficient user experiences.

Moderated by Francesc Delgado, Director of New Mobility at BSM, the panel brought together Josep Almirall, Experience Research Manager at NTT DATA; Francesc Varela, Founder and CEO of Nexus Geographics; and Xavier Tejero, Product Manager & Service Manager at Ayesa Digital. Together, they shared their perspectives on the evolution of digital platforms and their impact on urban mobility.

The speakers agreed that the future of digital mobility lies in reducing the complexity of everyday journeys and moving towards more intuitive, personalised and user-centred experiences.

The discussion also highlighted the potential of data, geolocation and artificial intelligence to remove friction, simplify decision-making and make mobility services easier to access. Finally, panellists reflected on how digital platforms are evolving into increasingly intelligent ecosystems, capable not only of supporting citizens throughout their journeys but also of anticipating their needs before they arise.
