It is an optional and free functionality that send a notification on your mobile phone if the Tow Truck has removed or relocated your vehicle. With this service you can find out your vehicle location and see the information about the service fee and, if you want, make the payment online
Currently only the Barcelona Municipal Towing Service has this function available.
From the vehicle's card, switching on the button. You will only have to indicate the NIF of the vehicle owner and, automatically, you will have the functionality activated for that vehicle.
Your vehicle has been moved by the Tow Truck to another location on the public road. In the details of the movement you will find the new location so that you can easily locate it. The movements do not have any associated fee, therefore, you do not have to make any payment.
Your vehicle has been moved by the Municipal Tow to a deposit. You will see the location of the deposit so that you can go and take your vehicle, after paying the associated fees, if any.
If your vehicle was removed for a parking violation, yes. On the detail of the notification you will see a button which will redirect you to the Municipal Towing Service website. There you will see the total amount to be paid. Remember that, if you make the payment online, you will have 4 additional hours for free, in addition to the first 4 hours by default, during which no stay costs will be incurred for the deposit.
You can switch off the notifications from the vehicle card. Whenever you want, you can reactivate the functionality.
